We all heard the quote, “Necessity is the mother or invention.” According to Patrick Braswell, CEO of Ten Eight, while trying to break his limit of 30 real estate deals a year, he realized that there was no system in place in which he could make his deal making process more efficient. Therefore, he made it himself.
“There are a ton of things about the deal making process that could be automated but weren’t.” He wanted something that could help him with deal management and created Ten Eight because he couldn’t find it.
This is not just a story about a real estate broker who created software. Two different skills and likely two different results. No, Patrick used his head and teamed up with the software experts who could create the program that satisfied his needs and hopefully, those of other brokers.
I don’t know about you, but I would hold more hope out there for the software created by the person who understands my needs than a computer genius who only knows coding.
