Will Investing in Real Estate Become Riskier – Interview with Dr. Ken Rosen

Dr. Ken Rosen, Chairman of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics and Professor Emeritus at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley discusses how we have to prepare ourselves for a different economic time despite the fact that real estate values are at near record levels, from a historical perspective.

Dr. Rosen also discusses in this video:

* An expected ramp-up in real estate development pipeline over the next three years;
* Normalization of interest rates;
* Increased risk with additional headwinds;
* The strength of the current economy and how the signals are clear;

Finally, Dr. Rosen and I also discusses problems with inequality in income distribution and how easy money, (low interest rates), compounds the problem for lower income individuals.

All of the above and more effects commercial real estate
